Master of Techno Hybral descend into the dark and drone realm of the sound, extracting eerie and hunting recordings from the ghost modular synthesiszer.

Hybral is a Berlin based non-binary DJ and producer focusing on the darker and more atmospheric side of electronic music, ranging from contemplative cinematic ambient and more introspective and slower ritualistic leaning techno to rough, fast, industrial and uncompromising hard techno - capturing feelings of anger, anxiety, chaos, fear, tension, desire and pain.

Hybral is founder of the queer label and event series SUBVERTED that is focusing on drone and noise infused dark industrial techno - from ambient, atmospheric and hypnotic techno to raw and relentless hard techno. SUBVERTED is intending to bring new and previously unheard perspectives to the dance floor and open the industry's gates for a new generation of artists that are pushing their own unique and fresh take on dark industrial techno.

❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me.
