HOLOTROP
Since 2013 this solo project of the Berliner musician and sound therapist Tino Seibte, also founder and leader of the label Qualia, is prolifically active in the ritual / ambient scene, by producing a good number of release, the last of which is the acclaimed album “Dead Bird Calling”, out for Raubbau and distributed by Ant-Zen.
With this contribution the german soundscaper gets deep in the ambient atmospheric sound shaping, working with layer of distant drones and very particular liquid and cristalline sounds, from which the name of the track, “Liquid Slow Dream”, comes from.
Adding some dark tribal percussive elements, this contribution is a real descent into sacrality and ritualism.
