IL SANTO BEVITORE
Originally from Sardinia but based in London, this project of the percussionist Nicola Serra, il santo Bevitore, structures drone layers, traditional sounds looped and manipulated and experimental sounds around a solid percussive skeleton, moving between the pure mysteries which belong to this island, sharing some conceptual focus with Sa Bruxa but with different musical perspectives.
After a couple of releases, including a tape for Aurora Borealis, the artist is now working on future releases. The contribution on the Modern Bön VA compilation is an unreleased track.
