KORSE
Korse is the new solo project of Samurai Music Group (which includes his sub-labels Red Seal and Horo) mastermind Geoff Wright, known for his outstanding DJ activities with the monicker Presha. With Korse, Wright focuses on the crossway between dark and sulfurous ambient mixed with industrial-esque kind of techno, with slow-paced rhythm and deep, solid percussional elements, following the trademark that Horo offers in their productions.
Started very recently, Korse counts a couple of appearances in VA so far, including - between the others - the contribution to the Pact Infernal's label (Altar) compilation.
The song on the Modern Bon VA presents all the typical and most interesting elements of Samurai Music productions: distant ambient layers, minimal ethereal sounds, utterly dark basses and a straight-forward kick-driven percussion.
